Planning for an exhibit that was constantly evolving and changing for each audience, therefore the freight needs were always fluctuating.
Before Boeing released its new 787 Dreamliner into service, it wanted to preview the revolutionary plane to its customers, press and government officials. It hired one of Rock-itís regular customers, The Production Network, to design and produce a road show stopping in 23 international capitals. The set up involved a 40ft by 10ft video wall and set elements featuring descriptions of the plane. Our team handled the air freight, carnets, customs brokerage and storage for the entire tour. We also assisted Boeing and TPN with the ocean and air freight to deliver and return a mockup of the 787ís interior to the Farmborough Air Show in the UK. The mockup of the interior was a to-scale replica of the fuselage complete with seats, luggage bins and electrical system.
